Historical mosque from the 17th century Ottoman period. It is the largest mosque among the Ottoman mosques in the city.
The mosque took its name from the fact that it was built next to one of the entrances of Konya Castle. It was built in 1658 by Pir Hüseyin Çelebi, one of the Mevlevi Lodge postnishins. The mosque, which was first renovated in 1811, was completely destroyed in a fire in 1867, along with the foundation shops around it. The mosque, which was rebuilt in 1868, has completely lost its original form. Built of cut stone, the mosque bears classical Ottoman mosque architecture. Its roof has 8 small domes on the inside. Its mihrab is made of stone and its pulpit is made of wood. There is an inscription on the crown gate regarding the last renovation in 1868. It also has gates in the east and west directions. At the entrance of the mosque, there is a congregation hall built on 10 columns. -

Iplikci Cami

It is located in the city center and in the Kürkçü neighborhood to the east of Alâeddin Hill and on Mevlâna Street. In the foundation deed dated 1202 of the Altunapa Madrasa, which was known to have been adjacent to it in the past and was demolished over time, both buildings became famous first with the name İplikçılar and then with the name İplikçılar, due to the yarn maker Necibüddîn Ayaz, who was appointed as the trustee of the madrasa, and the İplikçılar Bazaar near the mosque. It is thought that the domed structure adjacent to the qibla wall of the mosque belonged to one of the domed rooms of the collapsed madrasah.
The building, which was built of bricks on a rectangular seating area extending in the north-west south-east direction, is currently in a pit due to the street and pavement that have been raised over time. -
Sems-i Tebrizi Tomb & Mosque

The tomb of Semhs of Tebriz who is the greatest mystic friend of Mavlana Jelaleddin Rumi.
The most important change in Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi's life begins with his encounter with Şems-i Tebrizi. Şems opened new horizons in Mevlana's life and became his companion on his journey to become a perfect public lover. Şems-i Tebrizi Tomb and Masjid, located in a large park to the east of Konya Alaeddin Hill, are adjacent to each other. The tomb is in the type of classical Seljuk tombs. It is covered with a lead roof, which was later covered, and there is a large sarcophagus under the dome, where it is accepted that the body of Şems-i Tabrizi is located. Hz. The Tomb and Masjid of Shams-i Tabrizi, which has a very important place in Mevlana's intellectual life, is one of the most visited places in Konya.
